A retail services company in New Jersey is looking to add a new IT Project Manager to join their growing team in Bergen County. In this role, the IT Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of technology infrastructure, application and data projects.

- Successful planning, management and delivery of IT projects, owning, documenting and driving through all stages of the project lifecycle
- Assisting in the definition of project scope including requirements gathering, requirements analysis, and functional, technical and business objectives
- Managing project technical estimates, working with internal/external technical resources
- Developing and maintaining detailed project plans that set project stages, deadlines, tasks, resources, assigned responsibilities, and monitor progress
- Managing project budgets, ensuring cost is tightly controlled and reported on throughout
- Documenting, manage and track all Risks, Actions, Issues and Dependencies of projects
- Preparing and issuing Project Status Updates to Key Stakeholders and Senior Leadershi
- Management quality control procedures and processes, including assistance in internal and external technical and user testing cycles
- Managing project warranty periods and issue management within hyper care
- Assisting in Post-Implementation Reviews and ‘lessons learned’ activities
- Performing other duties, as needed
- 4 years of Project Management experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience of IT projects, infrastructure and applications e.g., ERP, Finance and Inventory, HR, Payroll, Time and Attendance, POS, customer facing and digital applications
- Working knowledge and understanding of both Waterfall & Agile Project methodologies
- Proven ability to manage multiple/concurrent high-profile IT projects.
- Experience in managing business change initiatives for business & customer applications
- Experience in Project Management Apps (e.g., Project, Jira, DevOps)
- Microsoft Office proficient
- Solid problem solving and time management skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
- Project Management qualifications is preferred e.g., Prince 2, PMP
- Experience of data focused & integration projects
- Experience in the Hospital, Retail, PSQ, and/or FMCG industries
