A nonprofit services agency on Long Island is actively seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their Pediatric team in Nassau County.

About the Opportunity:
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday 
  • Hours: 7am to 3pm or 8am to 4pm
  • Call: None
  • Setting: Clinic
  • Patient Population: Foster (Ages 0 to 21)
  • Patient Volume: 6 to 8 per day
  • EMR: EPIC
Responsibilities:

The Pediatric LPN will:
  • Conduct all work with good faith in compliance with all legal and regulations requirements
  • Maintain good attendance and report to work on time
  • Complete attendance records accurately and safeguard confidential information.
  • Communicate accurate information in a timely manner to supervisors
  • Accurately complete job-related documentation in a timely manner
  • Continually seek to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their department and the agency.
  • Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
  • NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • CPR certification
  • Completion of required courses in Child Abuse and Infection Control
Desired Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
