What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender/Server position at The Tavern at St Michael's?
We are looking for an enthusiastic bartender/server to provide an excellent guest drinking and dinning experience. Good candidates will be able to create classic and innovative drinks, have a knowledge of craft beer, and strive to exceed customers’ expectations on every visit. Compensation includes salary and tips. Day time shifts begin at 10:30am on weekdays and 9:30am on weekends. Evening shifts begin at 4pm
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Skills
- Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Excellent knowledge of Colorado craft beer
- POS literate
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- TIPS training a plus
- Daytime availability is a must
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
