The Terrace at the Charlotte Inn is currently seeking a Sous Chef. Full-time or part-time positions available. Each role entails helping the Executive Chef with supervising the kitchen, restaurant, and staff. Experience in BOH or a fine-dining atmosphere is highly preferred and very important. The Terrace comfortably does an average of about 60 covers a night, so there is a necessity for precision, excellence, and determination for every guest to have a memorable & first-class experience. Employees are expected to have a neat, clean, and professional appearance, along with a cheerful attitude. This would be a great opportunity for someone at any stage in their career. The Charlotte Inn is the only Relais & Chateaux property on Martha's Vineyard, and home to the island's most romantic fine dining restaurant, The Terrace. The entire property is a romantic reflection of a bygone era exquisitely appointed with fine art, English antiques, luxurious linens, and fresh flowers. The elegant, conservatory-style dining room is filled with polished silver, brass antiques, crisp linens, and Limoges china.
