Job Summary:
The Food Service GM will oversee all food service operations, ensuring that store managers, food managers, and kitchen staff are trained on proper policies, procedures, and recipes. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, be accountable for performance, and be approachable, respectful, and consistent. They will also be responsible for ensuring that restaurants are stocked, operations are excellent, and training and follow-up schedules are implemented and followed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all food service operations to ensure that store managers, food managers, and kitchen staff are trained on proper policies, procedures, and recipes.
- Portray a positive attitude and coach with a mindset focused on quality food, served fresh, hot/cold, and stocked.
- Be accountable for performance, praising and redirecting as needed.
- Be approachable, respectful, and consistent.
- Ensure that restaurants are stocked and that operations are excellent.
- Implement and follow up on cleaning plans and be accountable for the team's procedures and performance.
- Implement and follow up on organization plans, including ordering count sheet organization and restaurant organization.
- Implement and follow up on training and follow-up schedules, including layout, need, and timeline following up.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in food service management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a hot and noisy environment.
