Summary/Primary Purpose: Assist clients to our food pantry with the intake process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors/clients in a friendly manner.
- Secure the necessary client information and enter data into Service Point program.
- Inventory food order from Food Bank of the Heartland and order food accordingly
- Ensure pantry shelves are stocked.
- Attend meetings as required.
- Responsible for sorting and stocking personal care items.
- Supervise pantry staff and volunteers.
- Run reports for compliancy and statistical information.
- Turn in reports monthly for Food Bank of the Heartland, and stats.
- Driving is an essential function of this position.
- All other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position supervises volunteers under the direction of the Corps Officer.
Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
