Position Purpose:
The PIM (Product Information Management) Business Analyst will manage product data and digital assets for the purpose of serving internal and external consumers through various digital channels. This role will support growing product data and attribute needs related to digital business initiatives across the globe. The PIM Analyst will monitor and enforce compliance to business rules and best practices within an enterprise class PIM solution leveraging defined business logic. This role will work closely with enterprise data, marketing, sales, engineering, and e-commerce teams to serve specific customer and brand needs.
This position provides support to the PIM BPO Group in the coordination, measurement, and analysis of metrics used to track performance, completeness, and process adherence. The PIM Analyst will analyze gaps and support the user community with training, use case integration, and attribute data assignments.
This role will assist in establishing a communication cadence of results and be responsible for sharing those messages, scorecards, etc. with management and associates of functional groups using PIM and Cherwell tools which will drive management tactics and changes.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support to business stakeholders for managing product data in the PIM systems
- Understands all the functionality implemented and supports any issues found with product consolidation, enrichment, and syndication
- Work as part of the PIM development team to plan, administer, and document the results of user acceptance testing and assist the teams with testing and production support
- Drive data integrity through data governance, change management, data ownership, and quality assurance
- Reports KPIs related to material master data management and drives a system of actions to complete requests in accordance with SLA’s (service level agreements)
- Works collaboratively as a data steward within teams to ensure clear understanding of business requirements that are managed in concert with PIM data
- Partners with cross functional stakeholders to support business needs
- Create and Maintain training and process documents within central repository, complaint to company revisioning and standards
Desired Technical and Functional Skills:
- SAP ECC, PIM
- Strong analytical and process documentation skills
- Excellent systemic thinking with a technical aptitude
- Innovative and continuous improvement mindset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and SharePoint
- Strong knowledge of database functionality (SQL, Access, etc.), and general information systems
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Systems, IT or similar.
- At least 4 years’ experience in business processes, CI, marketing, information system functionality, analytics, master data or similar.
- Position level will be dependent upon years of qualified, relevant experience and education.
