Of course, prior bookkeeping experience is a priority, as we want to minimize the on-board process. In this role, you will be critical in contributing to the timely completion of accounting functions including: Full scale AP processing from start to finish, AP email, AP invoice management, AP to Vendor relationship management, Account Reconciliations, Account Deposits, organizing and maintaining orderly files (electronically, and physically), tracking and sorting bills via post mail, and additionally supporting our Controller.
NetSuite experience is highly desirable.

Please note: this position requires someone who is comfortable working within a busy warehouse setting.
What you'll do:
· Understand accrual accounting and how accounts payable affects month end close, as well as year end
· Handle all incoming AP e-mail including vendor invoices, statements, and inquiries
· Provide internal customer service for any inquiries regarding invoice/payment status
· Help create, shape and implement company policies
· Implement process improvements and find efficiencies wherever possible
· Additional ad-hoc accounting projects, as necessary
- Filing monthly taxes state-by-state, as well as yearly. Familiarity with Avalara is a bonus.
- This is a hands-on accounting position, we still cut checks and it requires all of the steps to get those checks prepared and in the mail accordingly
- Understanding of credits and how they apply across different methods of payment
- Strong oversight of credit card use, tracking invoices, and activity
- Strong understanding of Deposits
Who you are:
· Degree in Accounting or related field preferred
· 2 years Accounts Payable experience preferred
· Knowledge of Purchase Orders and 3-way match
· Experience in NetSuite.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel
· Knowledge of 1099 regulations for vendors
· Strong customer service skills and comfort in communicating with diverse audiences
· Ability to manage documentation and input data accurately, with great attention to detail
· Excellent and effective oral and written communication skills
· Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
· Being able to operate with a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines is critical
· Excellent organizational and follow-up skill
· Ability to work independently and with a team
