Understanding ABA
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a proven approach that enhances behavior through established principles. ABA therapy supports individuals with autism and other developmental disorders by improving essential skills and overall quality of life.
Your Role:
- Implement ABA interventions for clients in their homes.
- Collect, record, and analyze client progress data, preparing it for review by a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst).
- Collaborate with program staff to ensure consistency and effectiveness in therapy.
- Provide parents and guardians with feedback on client activities and progress.
- Customize and refine individualized ABA therapy programs.
- Assist in developing behavior intervention plans.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to enhance therapy outcomes.
- Embrace learning and constructive feedback to improve performance.
- Follow instructions carefully and seek clarity when needed.
- Adapt to working both independently and as part of a team.
- Have reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes.
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
- Availability to work Monday to Friday between 8am and 8:00 pm. Preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and meet the physical demands of the role.
- Willingness to obtain In-Person First Aid/CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation (we do not transport clients), and current insurance.
