We are looking for Part-time Entry-level Behavior Technicians to Experienced Registered Behavior Technicians to Join the Treetop ABA Therapy Team in Quincy and Hyde Park areas.
$22 to $27 per hour

The Treetop ABA Therapy serves children aged 2-18 and offers in-home ABA programs and community-based instruction in Arizona, Georgia, and Massachusetts (New Mexico coming soon).
In response to the growing need for appropriate educational services for children with autism, our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Home and Community Program is dedicated to providing evidence-based analytic services to children with autism spectrum disorder. We believe, when applied to ASD, ABA focuses on treating the challenges of the disorder by altering the individuals social and learning environments. The needs of the children we serve can be best met through a partnership with their parents and other professionals involved in their lives.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will be the face of our company and will be provided the highest quality training and support from our dedicated supervising clinicians and leadership team. Client services hours are based on medical necessity and include daytime and afterschool working opportunities. Our technicians provide 1:1 learning environment directly in the child's home with our goals being to establish competent learner skills that will prepare children to function effectively in both home and community-based settings while under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. Behavior Technicians and RBT's who work for Treetop Therapy are also outfitted with the tools they need to be successful while working with our clients. We provide a variety of materials and stimuli to encourage skills acquisition, learning, behavior modification, positive reinforcement and best practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy.
- Implement and collect data on behavioral skill acquisition, behavior reduction and functional living protocols.
- Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with client's individualized protocols.
- Utilize safe & appropriate handling procedures when working with clients.
- Maintain client confidentiality.
- Collaborate with treatment team members.
- Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required training.
EDUCATION:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Preferred but not required: bachelor's in psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Ability to accept constructive feedback and develop knowledge and skill sets.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time
- Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships.
- Ability to adhere to organizational policies and procedures and abide by code of ethics as indicated by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
- Ability to interpret and implement clinical protocols.
BASIC & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel between different job sites.
- Must be willing to conduct sessions in-home and/or school-based settings
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE BUT NOT REQUIRED:
- Experience working with children ages 0-18 providing in a classroom or 1:1 setting; experience implementing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis; Educational, Speech, or Allied Health Services experience
- Min of 1 year Experience in ABA, a paraprofessional, childcare setting , teaching, special needs, and or other professional experience with children and or children with disabilities.
- RBT Certification
- 40-hour ABA course certificate
