The Position Summary : The Quality Coordinator is responsible for implementing and maintaining quality control systems to ensure that all components and products meet the rigorous standards set by customers, industry regulations, and internal quality procedures.
They work closely with production teams, engineers, and management to identify and resolve quality issues, implement process improvements, and drive continuous quality improvement efforts.
This is an in-person, full-time position in Hubbard, Oregon.

Wage : $30 - $33 / hour DOE
The Essentials :
- Develop and maintain quality control procedures and work instructions for all manufacturing processes.
- Perform regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
- Manage non-conforming material processes, including disposition and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to review and approve new designs and processes for manufacturability and quality.
- Coordinate and participate in customer and regulatory quality audits.
- Provide quality training to production staff and implement quality awareness programs.
- Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Partner with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet quality requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality and process efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Associates degree in Machining Technology or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Expert in quality management systems such as ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar, certification preferred.
- Knowledge of AS9100 standards and experience working in aerospace or precision manufacturing industries.
- Understanding of quality management principles, tools, and techniques.
- Familiarity with aerospace industry regulations, quality standards, and specifications.
- Knowledge of CNC machining processes and quality control methods.
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive quality improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to lead and influence others to achieve quality objectives.
- Commitment to upholding exacting standards of quality and compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
