Job Summary: The Assistant Director of Annual Giving assists the Director with the development, implementation, and administration of the University's annual giving programs. Assists with the development of the strategic plan for a faculty and staff campaign.
Additional Department Summary: Designs, implements, and executes new programs that generate annual fund income for the University. Develops and manages crowdfunding, which includes an annual Day of Giving. Develops and manages annual faculty and staff campaign.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of development, fundraising, marketing, sales, or public relations experience; OR master's degree and some development, fundraising, marketing, sales, or public relations experience.
Skills and Knowledge: Strong verbal and written communications skills. Strong planning and organizational skills. Ability to establish priorities. Basic knowledge of the usage of personal computers and standard application software (word processing, spreadsheet and/or database management programs).
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with data analysis, market segmentation, direct mail solicitation, and/or other related field and/or experience in marketing, public relations, communications, or advertising.
