What are the responsibilities and job description for the Learning administrator position at The University of Manchester?
Applications are invited for the post of TLSE Administrator for the Assessment & Progression (A&P) Team who are based within the university’s Teaching & Learning Delivery Team.
The remit of the newly established A&P’ Team, is to manage and support a coordinated approach to assessment and progression across the university.
As part of this work, we are recruiting two TLSE Administrator to provide administrative support to the T&L Manager and the TLSE Officer, in overseeing both the university’s process for approving and appointing external examiners and the monitoring of student attendance via the new Student Engagement and Attendance System (SEAtS).
Whilst each of the two roles will be assigned to one or other of these areas, the expectation is that the appointee will be proficient in both, to ensure flexibility and ongoing support.
In addition, this area of work is still being established and therefore the responsibilities may change as the work develops.
An excellent communicator, you will be able to work with senior staff across the institution to ensure that staff in the Faculties and Schools are cognisant of our systems and the requirements of the A&P team.
You are reflective and pro-active and will have some understanding of quality assurance and student experience matters. Experience of working within assessment and progression area is desirable.
The role is 1.0 FTE, permanent post.
