The Department of Pathology is seeking a qualified candidate for a temporary Grant Writer position.
The incumbent will serve as a grant writer to write NSF and NIH style grants in the intersection of art/society and science. This involves completing an application for financial grants, but also researching the potential funders or funding programs, researching the purpose of the grant, collecting all the necessary information and documents, and communicating with the team. The incumbent should have expertise and experience in writing grant proposals, in particular knowledge of the grant application process and strong skills in writing, editing, research, reading, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and ability to work under pressure.
A Bachelor's degree is required for this position and a Master's degree is Preferred.
