Customer Service / Retail Sales Associate
The UPS Store Shoreline is an individually owned and locally operated small business. We do not have UPS driver/hub positions and have nothing to do with the delivery of packages. This high-energy retail store is looking for a responsible and team-oriented person to join their close-knit team.

Qualifications for Customer Service / Retail Sales Associate:
· Knowledge and application of Microsoft Office programs
· Production scheduling experience
· Project management skills
· Attention to detail for proofing
· Customer service and sales experience.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Cash handling
· You MUST be available Mon-Fri 8am-6:30pm AND Sat/Sun 9am-5pm.
Job Description & Responsibilities for Customer Service / Retail Sales Associate:
- Welcoming customers into the store
- Staying knowledgeable about our range of products & services
- Explaining to customers the best products for their needs
- Recommending related products to increase customers’ options and enrich the shopping experience
- Explaining the benefits and functions of products, method of preparation and how to use them to achieve the best results
- Accepting and processing orders, operate the POS register and resolve returns issues
· The Customer Service / Retail Sales Associate must be able to Lift and Move 55 lbs.
· The Customer Sales Associate must be bondable to become licensed Notary Public.
· Ability to work and complete tasks independently in a quick turn environment
· Knowledge and application of printing concepts
· Follow and understand quality guidelines for packaging & printing
· Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form & communicate that back to the customer
· Presenting concepts or ideas to clients
· Read and understand all job requirements before beginning desktop process
· Effectively manage production schedule and production materials
· Proofread orders
· Operation and maintenance of print and finishing equipment
· The Customer Sales Associate must provide Shipping solutions utilizing UPS and US Postal Service and educating customers on the differences.
· The Customer Sales Associate must Package antiques and other fragile items according to UPS Packaging Guidelines.
· The ideal candidate has previous retail sales experience, Adobe Photoshop & Microsoft Office program experience.
· Must have a friendly, positive, outgoing and helpful demeanor, and a professional appearance.
· Must be a fast learner, multi-tasker and a self-starter.
· Operate the center's POS terminals & printers to help customers with print production.
· Must be able to perform daily tasks such as printing items on demand, sorting mail, mail forwarding, packaging fragile items, and shipping/freighting them.
Other Skills and Abilities:
· Ability to lift 55 lbs regularly.
· Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
· Manual hand dexterity required to operate POS, printers and complete customer paperwork.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour
