Vancouver Clinic is looking for a Patient Service Representative to join our Float team! This person will greet, assist and provide excellent customer service to our patients checking in for appointments. Location: this person will float to different locations, covering various shifts at our clinics in the greater Vancouver area. Schedules are typically posted 2-3 weeks in advance. Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week) Monday – Friday, varying 8 hr shifts. **schedule times can be as early as 5:30am and as late as 11:30pm** (Training hours are typically M-F 8am to 5pm). Compensation: Hourly compensation minimum is $17.60, dependent on qualifications and professional experience. Base Medical, Dental, and Rx Insurance premium is 100% paid for by Vancouver Clinic for full-time employees. Evening shift differential of $2.00/hr per hrs worked 5:30pm-12:00am. Position Summary: This person must have a friendly demeanor, great attitude, and the desire to make a positive impact on our patients. Responsibilities include welcoming and greeting patients and their families, collecting co-pays, obtaining and completing insurance information, answering phones, scheduling, referrals, and other duties as assigned. If you have the ability to multitask, work well with others as part of a team, and can maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced environment, we want you on our team! Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 1 year of medical front office experience preferred. Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience required. Experience with Epic preferred. Excellent phone skills and customer service behaviors. Strong computer keyboarding skills required. PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
