Bar Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the hospitality industry, possess excellent leadership skills, and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the bar, including inventory control, staff supervision, and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests. Duties: - Manage day-to-day operations of the bar, including opening and closing procedures - Oversee inventory control to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste - Train and supervise bar staff, providing guidance and support as needed - Create and implement effective strategies to increase sales and profitability - Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors - Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations - Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner - Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate food service for events or catering functions - Maintain a clean and organized bar area Skills: - Proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) systems for order processing and cash handling - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team - Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training bar staff - Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive guest experience - Knowledge of inventory control practices to manage stock levels effectively - Familiarity with catering operations and food handling regulations - Previous experience in a hotel or banquet setting is preferred We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
