Starting annual salary $68,000 commensurate with experience

QPC:

Program director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Quality Parenting Center (QPC). The QPC director will serve as an expert and manage the implementation of the Visit Coaching Model which includes ensuring staff are trained and are utilizing model components with fidelity. The QPC Director will provide oversight to Parent Coach Supervisor and Transportation Case Aide Supervisor. Other duties include monitoring compliance with all program requirements, facilitating team meetings, hiring, maintaining compliance with Quality Assurance expectations, completes all required programmatic reports according to funder and agency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the supervision of program staff and others as assigned.
  • Responsible for hiring, training and performance management of assigned programs.
  • Maintains close working relationships with stakeholders and donors.
  • Responsible for admissions and overall program leadership and performance.
  • Ensure safe, trauma-informed programming for clients with adherence to best practices and required program models.
  • Responsible for quality assurance, utilization review, public relations, and maintaining license and accreditation.
  • Continuously monitors programs for improved service delivery.
  • Communicates, coordinates, and collaborates with collateral agencies, including DCF, school systems, etc.
  • Assists in developing yearly budget, control and monitoring of budget performance.
  • Provides emergency outreach and support to programs.
  • Provides on-site availability to each program.
  • Promotes a positive milieu with a focus on providing and supporting learning activities for staff that include ongoing training, group and individual supervision and timely objective feedback on performance.

Experience and Skills:

Education requirement

  • Master of Social Work or master’s related field
  • Clinical licensed preferred with minimum of 3 years supervisory experience working with families with Child Protection involvement.
  • Personal Characteristics: Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills required. Must be a good team player and leader, is flexible in approach to job and others, insightful, self-reflecting and aware of impact on others, patient and empathic, shows good judgment in pressured situations.
  • Cultural Competency: Familiarity, sensitivity, and/or experience working with diverse populations. Sensitivity to the impact of race, gender, sexuality, culture, language, and spirituality on mental health treatment.
  • Physical abilities: Physically able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations. These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the abilities to function safely in a therapeutic situation.
