Starting Hourly Rate: $19.00
JOB SUMMARY
The Data Specialist will work directly with the Process Management and Analytics department to support several data-related activities. The data specialist will maintain client records by extracting and entering information in multiple databases. The ideal candidate may also assist the Process Management and Analytics oversee quality improvement efforts for the entire agency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Data entry (client data, assessments, etc.).
Extract data from multiple sources for analysis
Run reports and provide ongoing database quality assurance and improvements.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in data sets.
Work with minimal oversight and report out to management on insights.
Create and manage data collection forms and reports in databases.
Help merge, clean, and run basic analytics on client data in Excel.
Assist in turning data into information through basic charting and visualization.
Create and maintain documentation of processes.
Experience and Skills:
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Information or Computer Science, Data Analyst, IT or closely related field.
At least 1 year, academic or professional, data base management experience.
EXPERIENCE
Intermediate-level experience with Excel is required.
Experience with ETO, Apricot, EPIC a plus.
Must be familiar working with various databases and performing quality checks.
Must be able to mine relational databases independently.
Must be able to develop reports in Word or PowerPoint with supporting charts and insightful findings.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Highly organized and able to multi-task.
Able to travel between Village locations to attend meetings or attend the occasional offsite meeting or training.
Physically able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.
