Responsibilities:
As trusted Human Resources professionals partnering with employees and leaders to make The Villages Health the employer of choice, the Human Resources team is held to possess the highest level of ethics and integrity, while championing the vision and mission of the organization; therefore, TVH recruits Human Resources professionals who are supportive of these initiatives.
Under supervision of the Non-Clinician Recruitment & Human Resources Supervisor, the Non-Clinician Recruiter is responsible for performing recruitment duties with professionalism and works closely with the Recruitment Team to support the organization’s hiring managers with various recruitment functions. The responsibilities within these functional areas include: job advertising and posting, recruitment and various projects as assigned.
- Serves as point of contact for provision of consultative service to hiring managers and the leadership team.
- Serves as resource for recruitment policies, procedures, and practices to supervisors, HR staff, and others.
- Conducts employment related research and assists recruitment team with electronic and other methods of sourcing of qualified candidates.
- Represents and promotes organization to potential applicants by providing information, responding to questions, and collecting applicant data.
- Conducts customized screening and initial contact of applicants to determine qualification and interest level.
- Assists in maintaining the Applicant Tracking System and Microsoft Planner.
- Tracks requisitions and maintains job board postings.
- Provides support with coordination of recruitment projects and related services to supervisors, hiring managers, recruitment team members, and others.
- Assists with TVH’s participation in job fairs, community activities, and other public and departmental recruitment-related events such as hiring events.
- Develops and maintains comprehensive knowledge of recruitment, employment, HRIS, compensation, benefits, pay administration, and other related organizational policies, practices, procedures, and/or regulations.
- Handles and prioritizes multiple ranges of advanced administrative duties with wide latitude for independent judgment and initiative.
- Assists with identifying issues affecting recruitment and implementing recruitment activities to continuously improve processes.
- Processes various reports for recruitment and retention metrics, as assigned.
- Participates in other duties and responsibilities as assigned in order to recruit and retain team members.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Associates Degree in business, communications, or marketing or the equivalent in work experience. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- A minimum of one year of experience in recruitment or human resources.
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Willing to train the right candidate.
- Project management experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required and means of transportation.
