Overview
Archer Western de Moya JV III, a member of The Walsh Group is currently seeking a Traffic Control Specialist for the Broward I-95 Express Lanes PH 3C, in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
The Traffic Control Specialist is responsible for various traffic control duties on construction projects; tasked with properly directly live traffic in and around active construction zones for protection and safety of public and employees.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Control flow of traffic around construction jobsite
- Oversees proper erection, placement, and removal of traffic control materials
- Maintain traffic control supplies as needed
- May be required to ensure that flag persons are properly trained for duty
Qualifications
- 3-5 Years Verifiable Experience Preferred
- Certification in Work Zone Traffic Control may be required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
- Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly.
- Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn.
- Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
