Seeking a highly skilled and effective Housekeeping Houseperson to join our team!
Hourly Pay Rate: $18.00
Various shifts available.
Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining public areas of the hotel, assisting room/suite attendants with general cleaning of guest rooms and suites, as well as removing trash and dirty linen from guest rooms and room/suite attendants carts. This includes vacuuming, shampooing of carpets; cleaning/waxing of floors; trash removal; window cleaning, cleaning baseboards, stocking and maintaining supply rooms and other cleaning duties.
Essential Job Duties:
- Cleaning of, but not limited to cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, service landings, public restrooms, corridors, lobby areas and other public spaces in the hotel. This may include vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, waxing, scrubbing, wiping, and dusting. As well as assisting housekeeping through supply of guest room product and cleaning supplies.
- Participate in the scheduled general cleaning of guest rooms.
- Report maintenance requests to ensure public areas comply with brand standards.
- Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by The Waterfront Beach Resort from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.
- Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, associates will be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the resort – to include weekends and holidays.
- Assimilate into The Waterfront Beach Resort culture through understanding, supporting, and participating in all event programs. Demonstrate working knowledge of the service standards
