Finance Director

Now seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Director to join our diverse, fun, and rapidly growing team in the internet retail space since 2014!

The Finance Director will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organization. This includes budgeting, financial planning, compliance management, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the organization's goals and objectives
• Manage budgeting processes and financial forecasting
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis
• Develop, implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accounting principles (GAAP)
• Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management
• Manage treasury functions including cash flow management, investments, and risk management
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax consultants, and other third party service providers to support compliance requirements
• Development, implement, and lead financial teams, providing guidance, mentoring, and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; MBA preferred
• Certified Public Account (CPA) preferred
• Proven experience in a director or similar leadership role within finance/accounting
• In-depth knowledge of IAS (International Accounting Standards) and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• Strong understanding of budgeting processes and financial planning
• Experience with compliance management and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
• Proficient in accrual accounting principles and practices
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic insights
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
• Prior experience in treasury management is highly desirable

Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
