The Wax and Skin Lounge - Chicago's premier hair removal and skincare destination with locations in Logan Square and The West Loop! We are seeking a Spa Manager. The ideal candidate will have a customer service background that includes Spa experience. The WSL prides itself on providing great guest service to help our guests love the skin they're in!
Daily job responsibilities
As the Spa Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily spa operations and team to deliver an excellent guest experience. You will also be required to achieve sales targets and manage guest relationships. More specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks standards:
- Manage overall operations of the spa (this includes answering phones, checking guests in/out, scheduling, cleaning, Managing schedules and more)
- Responsible for projecting a positive image within the spa, maintaining an atmosphere of unified teamwork that emphasizes guest service and satisfaction
- Ensure guest experience is proficient including bookings, payments, and post care instructions
- Manage and carry out procedures, have current knowledge of treatments, and ensure all service treatments comply with our standards
- Be able to identify and recognize areas of need in real time and fill that need
- Managing Estheticians to ensure high motivation, provision of high-quality service and ongoing development
- Inform staff of job responsibilities, performance expectations, guest service standards, and corporate policies and guidelines
- Manage daily and weekly appointments in the most efficient and effective manner
- Manage customer feedback effectively to ensure continuous service and program improvement
- Properly document and deliver appropriate corrective action as needed when employees are not performing to company standards and/or are in violation of company guidelines and policies
- Instill brand values and standards to maintain excellence on a daily basis
- Ensure guests receive friendly and consistent personalized service from all team members
- Maintain awareness of spa security related to cash, retail and equipment and ensure all company protocols are followed
- Maintain a clean and healthy space
