Position Summary
As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for various types of communication associated with our lead generation, coaching, franchise, other additional programs, and alternative marketing efforts. This position will be responsible for tracking leads, making calls, fielding customer communications (including but not limited to; texts and emails), responding to inquiries across various platforms, answering questions, scheduling appointments, utilizing lead generation tools and software, and various alternative marketing tasks. You will provide administrative support to daily operations and the growth of the marketing team.
This role requires strategic thinking, good listening, analytical, creative, and strong interpersonal and communication skills on the phone and in writing. You must be organized, attentive to detail, and passionate about helping people. As a Sales Specialist, you need to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be good at managing multiple projects and platforms simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude and professionalism. This role will require week work and potentially some nights as well.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Sales & Service
Perform a wide range of sales & service, communication, clerical, and administrative tasks to support marketing initiatives and growth strategies including but not limited to:
- Responding to email, phone, social, and text inquiries across various platforms
- Managing phone inquiries and communication efforts
- Responsible for qualifying and scheduling appointments
- Maintaining ongoing and timely lead management and follow-up
- Perform administrative tasks to alert doctors and providers of the patient information and date/time of complimentary calls
- General marketing administration and communication tasks
- Availability and flexibility to work weekends
Business unit growth
- Make phone calls to patients, potential doctors’ offices and/or personnel
- Book meetings with patients, potential doctors’ offices and/or personnel
- Work with the sales manager and other team members to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual performance metrics
- Communicate with the Sales manager about goals, metrics, performance, issues, victories, etc.
- Stay up to date on CRM software and industry best practices
- Support potential doctors’ offices and/or personnel and other businesses in their understanding of The Wellness Way brand and offerings
- Answer questions, provide resources, and schedule appointments
- Provide support and communication via follow-up and touchpoints
Social Media Marketing
- 2 - 5 years of sales and social media marketing experience is preferred, including experience with platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, and others.
- Utilize social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, and others to engage potential patients and spread the message of The Wellness Way
- Respond to live posts, replies, conversations, etc.
- Availability and flexibility to work nights and weekends
Team Collaboration
- Ongoing status and strategy communication with leadership
- Open communication with teammates and management
- Tracking, presenting, and sharing of documents, etc.
- Use the Dignify System to navigate colleague relationships
Training & Development
- Learn the basics of the Dignify System and complete introductions and check-ins as required
- Complete additional training and continuing education as asked
Qualifications
Position Requirements
- Knowledge of The Wellness Way or the willingness to learn; must be willing to live the lifestyle
- Organized, with keen attention to detail
- Strong critical thinking, strategic thinking, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong follow-up, great phone etiquette, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to research and learn about a wide range of topics
- A genuine interest in our culture and in sharing our information with the public
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Possess the ability to work well with a variety of personality types
- 2 5 years' experience in sales
- Comfort and proficiency with technology overall and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Takes initiative, loves growth
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Salary : $40,000 - $50,000
