What you will be doing:
Support and Training:
- Act as the initial point of contact for all computer and system related questions and concerns.
- Assist with user management including setup of new associates with system and hardware configurations to ensure delivery of equipment and services prior to their start date.
- Provide associates will a high-level overview of all the systems and services.
- Provide help desk support for desktop operating systems, software applications, and procedural questions.
- Assist with the management of software vendor support calls: open, track, close and communicate resolution.
- Assist with the documentation and communication of problem areas, workarounds, and open calls.
- Provide support for network printers and multi-function devices.
- Provide support for leading collaboration and web conferencing services including Microsoft Teams, GoToMeeting, WebEx and Zoom including Teams Rooms and Polycom hardware.
Monitoring and Reporting:
- Assist with inventory of PCs and accessories.
- Ensure all former associates return equipment and assess all equipment’s condition.
- Document and report any damages or concerns with inventory.
- Dispose of all outdated equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Provide assistance with backup operations.
- Demonstrate knowledge and compliance with federal, state and local regulations regarding computer programs and information systems.
Requirements:
- Associate degree or equivalent in computer information systems, computer science, network administration, or a related field. Experience with all Microsoft office skills.
- Good understanding and technical knowledge of current network and PC operating systems, hardware, protocols, and standards, including Microsoft Windows.
- Must have good Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
