Location: Houston, 77006 Salary: $15.00-$17.00 Hourly
Travel Percentage: 10-20% Pay Schedule: Semi-monthly

Description: As a Cottage Shop Resale Shop Associate, you will play an integral part in the daily operations of our resale shop. You will work alongside a passionate team to create a welcoming and thriving retail environment while supporting the overall goals of the Women's Home Organization.
Responsibilities:
- Creates a warm, friendly, and positive shop atmosphere and shopping experience that satisfies the needs of customers, donors, and volunteers.
- Works with the shop manager and staff to support the daily operations to increase sales revenue.
- Works with clients of TWH, providing training skills and guidance throughout their shift with a positive and empathetic approach.
- Operates the register (POS) system Point of Sale system.
- Sorts, prices, replenishes and merchandise items on sales floor.
- Maintains the cleanliness and overall appearance of the shop.
- Assists customers with unloading donations out of vehicles, including furniture.
- Must be able and willing to cross train in other all areas of the shop.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education (GED)
- Personal computer skills and experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems
- One to two years customer service experience and training preferred.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
