HireArt is helping the world’s largest social network hire a passionate Supply Chain Analyst who will support the daily and weekly planning execution for the company's global fulfillment operations.
In this role, you'll be responsible for the retrieving and filtering of critical data to run the company's internal planning models, enabling the timely and efficient execution of its global operations, which support retail partners and direct-to-consumer customers.
The ideal candidate has an understanding of supply chain operations, is capable of proposing data-driven, systemic solutions for complex problems, is independent, can work with minimum supervision, and has demonstrated success in contributing to the growth and success of a business.
As a Supply Chain Analyst, you’ll:
- Assist in retrieving and synthesizing critical data in a format that is immediately useful in answering specific questions and tracking business performance.
- Support building compelling and engaging data visualization and presentations.
- Drive the automation of reports by leveraging the ability to retrieve insights/data reports from BI tools (e.g. Tableau and Business Intelligence hubs).
- Apply strong analytical skills to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Support to synthesize meetings minutes.
- Proactively follow up with cross functional stake holders when required.

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, finance, or a related business field
- 1 years experience in supply chain (e.g. demand/supply planning, logistics, warehousing, etc.).
- High proficiency in Excel, i.e. experience with complex formulas (e.g. SUMIFS, INDEX, MATCH, etc.)
- Experience prioritizing and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform data extraction from Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Oracle BI, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience creating and maintaining Excel models with macros and queries
- Experience creating BI reports (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Oracle BI, etc.)
- Proven experience managing seasonal products in supply chain
- Understanding of forecasting techniques and models
- Thorough understanding of supply chain, including on-time delivery, warehousing, backlog, and order to cash cycle
Commitment: This is a full-time 12-month contract position staffed via HireArt and based in Sunnyvale, CA. It will be remote until offices reopen and is available to candidates local to the Bay Area.
