Job Title: Application Manager
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Manager to join our team. The Application Manager will oversee a team of lawn, tree, and pest control technicians, ensuring that all services are delivered efficiently, safely, and in accordance with industry regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lawn, tree, and pest control operations, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of technicians, providing guidance, support, and training as needed to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
- Service Management: Coordinate with production team regarding the schedule. Provide inspections, and treatments, ensuring timely and effective completion of all assignments while optimizing technician productivity and training.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections of completed work to ensure that services meet quality standards and customer expectations. Address any issues or concerns promptly and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing expert advice and recommendations on pest control solutions and prevention measures.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols, including the proper handling and application of pesticides, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and adherence to industry best practices for safe operations.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels of equipment, tools, and supplies necessary for services. Coordinate procurement, storage, and distribution of inventory to ensure availability and efficiency.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of services rendered, including treatment reports, inspection findings, and customer communications. Generate regular reports on team performance, service metrics, and other relevant data for management review.
- Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs for technicians to enhance their skills, knowledge, and proficiency in pest identification, treatment techniques, and customer service excellence.
- Application Oversight: Supervise all tank mixing operations, ensuring precise materials and quantities are added according to the scheduled or ongoing application round. Provide guidance and training to technicians on optimal truck tank mixing practices and accuracy standards. Coordinate regular calibration tests for tanks and granular spreaders on a weekly or bi-weekly basis."
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the lawn, tree or pest control management industry, with demonstrated expertise in pest identification, treatment methods, and integrated pest management (IPM) principles.
- Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and management. (Bi-lingual is a plus)
- Proficiency in using application equipment, tools, and technology, including handheld devices for scheduling and reporting.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and safety guidelines governing pest control operations, with a commitment to maintaining compliance and promoting a culture of safety.
- Valid ISDA Professional Applicators Liscense required the ideal candiate will have the following categories: CO, OH, OI, GP, RC, AH.
