Job Description
The Head of Maintenance at The Yard continuously oversees and completes service calls across all locations. In this role you will be required to wear many hats including the oversight of a cleaning and maintenance team as well as relationships with outsourced vendors. Implementing and maintaining services in compliance with established guidelines, codes, and regulations. This role requires a fine eye to detail and an expedited approach on maintenance issues within a workspace setting.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Overseeing daily success of cleaning and maintenance in all locations
- Creating a checklist for the team including garbage removal, pest control and daily upkeep Supporting the training process of all new hires to ensure company standards are upheld
- Ensuring the integrity and operational order of all locks, doors & windows
- Development of a preventative maintenance program
- Manage suite turnover with Community Managers and Maintenance team
- Develop and retain relationships with vendors for a multitude of projects
- Patching walls and identifying issues that need to be expedited
- Identify and conduct large scale renovation projects in existing locations
- Customization of suites in each location including wall removal
- General administrative responsibilities to include creating, maintaining and editing documents as well as maintaining a budget
- Scheduling and follow up on the move in and out process of rented spaces in all locations
- Ensuring that all locations are presented in accordance with brand standards and a positive work environment is maintained
- Performing personnel functions such as interviewing, supervising, disciplining & training
- Responding to emergency situations during and after standard hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns
- Adhoc projects as required
Disposition & Experience
- Highly organized multitasking with excellent time management
- A high level of attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Ability to deliver quality service, efficiently and within required deadlines
- Licensor or certification in various trades and maintenance practices
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Calm demeanor under pressure
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000 - $60,000 annually

- HVAC: 2 years (Preferred)
- Drywall: 2 years (Preferred)
