Currently seeking a CAD Technician for a full-time temporary to permanent position in East Providence, RI.

Responsibilities of CAD Technician:
  • Detail progressive tools and dies using SolidWorks CAD/AutoCAD.
  • Create 3D models and 2D engineering drawing.
  • Add details to diagrams, schematics, layouts etc according to internal and customer needs.
  • Ensure 2D and 3D drawings meet customer specifications.
  • Modify and improve products as needed to eliminate malfunctions.
  • Use the mechanical mold design principle to evaluate and confirm plastic molding and metal tooling process.
  • Provide support to tool room staff and machine operators.
Requirements of CAD Technician:
  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of CAD training at a technical school or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency using SolidWorks CAD/AutoCAD systems.
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Office products.
  • Great troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and present technical data, documents, information, and design specifications.
  • Great attention to detail.
Hours: 8:00am - 5:30 pm Monday-Friday.
Pay Rate: $22.00-$27.0/hr.
