What are the responsibilities and job description for the Theatrical Fabicator position at Theater Outsource?
This is a subject matter expert that sets the culture with how to handle all things onsite
As a department head, expected to review construction plans, means and methods for all jobs and be personally in charge of the most challenging projects. Should cultivate and grow, train and develop the internal *build* team.
Solutions-oriented experience onsite with how to move things, run crews, and maintain client satisfaction.
Coordinate with third part vendors such as fabrication shops to ensure positive progress
Plan and execute an installation strategy to ensure profitability.
Supervising set construction timeline and communicating thoroughly with the crews and vendors
Manages construction efforts on a project or multiple projects which can be large and complex in nature
Delegating tasks, developing time schedules, and occasionally assisting in ordering required materials for the build
Day-to-day decision-making for construction activities within scope
Knows when to elevate issues requiring executive leadership direction
Direct point of contact/communication to all construction vendors and contractors on a daily basis
RequirementsDemonstrated experience with Microsoft Office
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
Familiarity with project management software
Associates degree or relevant experience
Understands arch-entertainment and immersive experiences
Excellent creative intelligence and HUGE time management skills. Can handle STRESS.
