Responsibilities
- Providing services in accordance with policies and procedures and regulations that define scope of practice
- Prepares clinical and progress notes on the relevant and specialized nursing services he/she provides
- Assisting the RN and/or physician in performing specialized duties related to end-of-life care
- Assisting the RN in carrying out the plan of care
- Preparing equipment and materials for treatment, adhering to aseptic techniques as required
- Assisting the patient in learning appropriate self-care techniques as required
- Assessing patient/family response to care
- Insuring communication of information to appropriate team members
Qualifications
- New Jersey Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license, currently active and in good standing
- Reliability, professionalism, and punctuality are strict requirements
- Must have reliable means of transportation to and from work
