Position Overview: We are currently seeking a meticulous and skilled QC Inspector with expertise in troubleshooting motors and motor controllers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, performing trial runs, and verifying the accuracy and quality of machine settings and finished work pieces. This role requires a keen eye for detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to ensure that products conform to specifications and meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting Motors and Motor Controllers:
- Utilize your technical knowledge to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with motors and motor controllers.
- Identify and rectify problems related to functionality, alignment, wiring, and performance.
- Trial Run and Machine Operation:
- Set up and operate machines for trial runs to validate the accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data.
- Collaborate with machine operators to fine-tune settings and ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct meticulous inspections of finished work pieces, assessing dimensions, alignment, and overall quality.
- Verify that products conform to specifications and meet established quality standards.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Create detailed inspection reports, documenting measurements, observations, and test results.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, trial runs, and any corrective actions taken.
- Collaborative Problem-Solving
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and production staff, to address and resolve quality-related issues.
- Participate in problem-solving efforts and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to quality control processes and standards throughout the inspection and trial run phases.
- Provide input on process improvements and best practices to enhance product quality.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electrical or mechanical engineering is preferred.
- Proven experience as a QC Inspector, with a focus on motors and motor controllers.
- Strong understanding of motor functionality, control systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
- Attention to detail and the ability to identify defects and deviations from specifications.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team environment.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to quality improvement.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality control processes.
