Who we’re Looking for:
Therabody is seeking a Logistics Coordinator who will coordinate shipments with suppliers, transportation service providers and freight forwarders to ensure the safe and timely delivery of products and material from suppliers. Must have retail fulfillment experience and routing experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate and support issue resolution, ensuring delivery requirements can be legally met.
- Meet delivery requirements while evaluating and consolidating shipments and selecting the most cost-effective method of transportation.
- Analyze transportation costs and trends, update performance metrics, and prepare routine reports identifying actions for continued improvement.
- Ensure timely processing of transportation service provider invoices in accordance with service provider agreements and corporate payment procedures.
- Improve, develop, and implement all transportation related processes and work instructions.
- Build and develop carrier relationships via performance metrics.
- Work independently in a collaborative environment, meet deadlines, and multi-task while maintaining quality standards.
- Processing outbound shipments as well as E-Commerce orders
- Work within our WMS in order to allocate, process, and generate orders/work for our e-commerce order building team to fill and ship to our B2B and B2C customers
- Communicate effectively with our Customer Service team to resolve any issues with orders
- Work in both an office and production warehouse environment creating labels or documents and applying to outbound shipments.
The Right Person Would Have
- Background with 3PL and/or domestic transportation
- 3 years’ experience within a consumer products and retail fulfillment environment
- Understanding of production planning concepts
- Experience with logistics terminology, analysis and management
