Job Description and Responsibilities
This is a full-time on-site role as a Speech and Language Pathology Assistant serving a school located in Castle Rock, CO. The Speech and Language Pathology Assistant will be responsible for assisting in providing diagnostic and therapeutic services for students with communication disorders.
- This is a contract position for the 2024-25 school year
- Mid August 2024 - Late May 2025
- 7.5 hours/day
- Manageable caseload sizes.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree or Certificate as a SLPA
- Licensure (State) as a SLPA
- Experience working with children required
- Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required.
- Organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in use of technology
- Fingerprint background clearance
- Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications

Physical Requirements
If applicable, working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities.
Salary : $35 - $45
