Position Description
TherapyTravelers is partnering with an exceptional school district who is looking for several contract Special Education Teachers for the 2022-2023 school year. This district provides lots of support and have monthly trainings. They have a lead SPED Teacher in every campus who helps in managing paper works. They also keep their ratios low, and do not have a caseload of over 20.
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: January 9, 2023 - May 26, 2023
Onsite or Virtual: On-Site
Full or Part Time: Full Time
Schedule: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday
Grade/Age Levels: Kinder to 8th-grade
Caseload description: Approximately 20 students

Qualifications
The minimum qualifications for a Special Education (SPED) Teacher:
1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a Special Education Teacher within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
Valid Special Education Teacher credential/license or in process in the state of practice
