Position Description:
TherapyTravelers is partnering with an exceptional school district who is looking for several contract School Speech Language Pathologists for the 2022-2023 school year. This district provides professional development to staff and encourages staff to participate in professional learning communities which allow them to learn from one another. An hour of time for paperwork is built into the work week. There is potential for the assignment to extend through the 23/24 school year.
- Location: Bridgeport, CT
- Duration: Immediately - June 14, 2023; could extend to 23/24
- Onsite or Virtual: On-Site
- Full or Part Time: Full Time
- Schedule: 37.5 hours/week (one hour for paperwork)
- Grade/Age Levels: Pre-K to 8th-grade
- Caseload Description: 45-55 students, some of them only have 2-3 hours/month. Mix case load of articulation, autism, self-contained rooms, & medically fragile.

Qualifications:
The minimum qualifications for a Speech Pathologist:
- 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as an SLP (Speech Language Pathologist) within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
- Valid SLP license or in process in the state of practice
