Position Description
TherapyTravelers is partnering with an exceptional school district who is looking for several contract Special Education Teachers for the 2022-2023 school year.
- Location: Elmhurst, IL
- Duration: Immediately - May 26, 2023 (may extend depending on snow days)
- Onsite or Virtual: On-Site
- Full or Part Time: Full Time
- Schedule: 36.25 hours/week, 7.25 hour/day 8:00 AM -3:15 PM
Position 1
- Grade/Age Levels: Kinder to 2nd-grade
- Caseload description: 5-6 students
Position 2
- Grade/Age Levels: 4th to 5th-grade
- Caseload description: 12 students

Qualifications
The minimum qualifications for a Special Education (SPED) Teacher:
- 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a Special Education Teacher within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
- Valid Special Education Teacher credential/license or in process in the state of practice
