What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Leader position at TheraTrue?
JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a robust leader that can help drive the vision of our Georgia cannabis production facility. We're looking for mid to senior level leaders with experience in this space and they must be willing to get their hands dirty with us as we build an incredible company together!
· Responsible for all aspects of leadership in our Georgia production facility, which includes cultivation, lab and MIP. This will also include every aspect of the process from start to finish goods hitting retail shelves.
· Manage and support the expansion, design, construction, and startup of our Georgia facility, this will require frequent interaction with many different vendors.
· Know the GMCC rules and state regulations applicable to our business to help ensure a compliant and safe environment, and partner with regulators to help enrich the business and industry in Georgia.
· Work with local and state government to help drive overall success of the program and connectivity with our partners.
· Drive a strong level of team engagement, always lead with the team first and support their growth and development to the highest level possible.
· Partner with Human Resources to develop and implement recruiting, hiring and on-boarding systems for all production employees.
· Support all training directives and initiatives for production employees.
· Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations in all activities under your supervision.
· Lead with a mindset that focuses on continuous improvement and bettering the business on a daily basis through the use of metrics, analytics and onsite experience.
· Meet or exceed production targets for high-quality products produced at TheraTrue facilities.
· Direct all product development and the pipeline to meet launch targets.
· Support inbound and outbound wholesale, sales activities.
· Manage a diverse group of functions on a day-to-day basis, and influence and build consensus among cross-functional areas to promote a spirit of teamwork.
· Be a hands-on leader at first, as we scale, we will need more on the ground support and then you will assist with hiring the rest of the core staff as we scale up.
· Aggressively manage capital investment and expenses to ensure targets relative to growth and profitability are met.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience manage complex environments
· Strong computer skills with use of systems and applications (Excel, Google sheets, etc)
· Detail oriented
· Must be able to be successfully licensed by the GMCC
· Ability to work under pressure
· Ability to work independently
· High-energy, enthusiasm and the willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
· At least 21 years of age.
· No drug related felony; ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
