Job Title: Ultrasound TechnicianJob Summary:We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating ultrasound equipment to produce images of patients' internal organs for diagnostic purposes. The Ultrasound Technician will work closely with physicians to accurately interpret images and provide high-quality patient care.Responsibilities and Duties:- Perform ultrasound examinations on patients as ordered by physicians- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated- Review images to ensure they meet quality standards- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and ease any anxieties- Collaborate with healthcare team to provide accurate and timely results- Maintain patient confidentiality at all timesQualifications and Skills:- Associates degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field- ARDMS certification preferred- 2 years of experience working as an Ultrasound Technician- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
