Founded in 1999 and based outside of Boston in Bedford Massachusetts, TRI uses proprietary technology to diffuse a highly effective insect repellent based on a material found in Chrysanthemums. In just a few minutes, this unique technology creates a 15 foot zone of protection from mosquitoes and other flying insects. Users around the world rate Thermacell Repellents dramatically higher than any other mosquito repellent because its technology works so well without requiring direct skin application. 

TRI currently employs 125 full time employees at our 4 locations (Bedford Massachusetts (Corporate, Dover New Hampshire (Sales), Buford Georgia (Manufacturing & Distribution).

POSITION PURPOSE: 

Thermacell is currently seeking a highly motivated Assembly Associate. Assembly Associates are responsible for performing an array of duties such as building displays, picking and filling display from stock, packing and preparing displays for shipping. This individual should be focused on both quality & productivity. This role will report to the Warehouse Floor Supervisor.

STATUS: Non-Exempt

WORKING HOURS: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (extended hours during busy season)

WORK LOCATION: 943 Gainesville Hwy, Buford, GA 30518

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Works independently to build, stock and complete display orders.
• Demonstrates and promotes quality values throughout the department.
• Closely adheres to all operating procedures.
• Meets company productivity and quality standards.
• Fills customers’ displays according to specifications.
• Palletize orders for shipping.
• Maintains clean work area to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Must be able to work over-time as needed. Overtime may be prior to and/or after scheduled work hours (including weekends).
• Other duties may be assigned.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Ability to manage and deliver multiple simultaneous priorities 
• Read and follow detailed assembly instructions, guidelines and procedures
• Strong collaboration skills
• 0-1 year warehousing or similar experience preferred
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to stand/walk for 8 to 10 hours
• Basic math skills
• Drivers License required

COMPENSATION  

Compensation for this position will include a competitive base salary as well as an?annual incentive bonus?tied to company and individual performance goals.?Benefits for this position will include vacation benefits at a competitive level &?10?paid company?holidays.?Additionally, a company slow-down period is traditionally offered for one week in between Christmas and New?Year’s?Day.
