Position Overview: As a Project Manager at Thermcraft, you will play a crucial role in driving the successful implementation of our Warehouse Management System (WMS) while serving as the primary liaison and task master for production, engineering, and sales teams. In addition to overseeing internal projects, you will actively participate in customer projects, ensuring timely delivery and exceeding expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
WMS Implementation: Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of the Warehouse Management System implementation project. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and timely delivery of milestones.
Task Master: Act as a central point of contact for production, engineering, and sales teams, providing clear direction, setting priorities, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
Project Management: Manage multiple projects from initiation to product delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Develop comprehensive project plans, identifying and mitigating potential risks to minimize delays and ensure quality outcomes.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with the Leadership team to provide project status updates and align project priorities. Coordinate the completion of defined project scopes, fostering collaboration between internal teams and external stakeholders.
Client Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, prioritizing customer satisfaction and reinforcing Thermcraft’ s commitment to excellence. Prepare and deliver periodic reports to clients, tracking project performance metrics such as cost, schedule, and quality.
Process Optimization: Analyze existing processes and workflows to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains. Conduct regular risk assessments to proactively address project challenges and implement contingency plans as needed.
Issue Resolution: Anticipate and address key project issues, establishing clear objectives and driving solutions to fruition. Participate in project initiatives and contribute to cost reduction and process improvement uuuuttuuttuuttui8ji8ji85efforts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, engineering, finance, and other business units. Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or related field. Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) is preferred.
Must have a minimum of 4 years’ proven experience in project management, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation is highly desirable.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge of Excel
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, foster collaboration, and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams, customers, and senior management.
Solid understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools. The ideal candidate will be proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities.
