Inventory Technician

WE OFFER COMPRESSED WORK WEEK: Our company offers flexible work schedules. After a successful job entry period, employees may work five 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, or four 10-hour days either Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday. For those who work 4-10's, you will have the option to flex your start time at 5 a.m., 6 a.m. or 7 a.m.

HERE’S WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Pick parts and handle small components, wire, and hardware according to the work order instruction sheet.

Prep parts and kitting. Candidate will be required to read basic work order instructions and measurements, cut wire, prepare small parts, use small hand tools like wire cutters, screwdrivers, tape measure, etc.

Control inventory materials through organization, counting, and periodically entering information into inventory system.

Move materials and parts. You will be on your feet most of day to move inventory parts short distances from the stockroom to the manufacturing floor.

Keep work area neat, clean, and orderly.

HERE’S WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

Someone who is respectful, has a positive outlook, and can effectively communicate by listening and speaking.

Someone who is accurate and consistent, and is on time to work.

Someone who can use basic hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, some automated screwdrivers, wire strippers, hand tools, tape measure, and more.

Someone with the ability to work independently and together as a team.

Someone in good physical health, able to lift up to 20 pounds on a regular basis and 40 pounds on occasion, and can be on their feet and moving around.

Someone who is organized and detail oriented.

Someone with basic computer skills to assist in input of information is a plus.

Hourly rate is based on experience and the range is $15 to $19/hour.
