Compensation And Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $21.42–$32.13.

What will you do?
- Use inventory/order management electronic systems to perform on-site program replenishments and disbursements, receiving, put-away, stock rotation, cycle counts, order entry and expediting, customer service call resolution, product returns, and backorder processing.
- Follow well-defined procedures as outlined by Best Practices, SOP’s & work instructions.
- Independently make decisions and use available resources to meet customer requirements.
- Analyze, maintain, and reconcile various customer and Thermo Fisher reports to ensure customer and company requirements are met.
- Demonstrate proficiency at capturing, presenting, and explaining job or site-specific performance metrics.
- Communicate with supervisor any customer issues or potential problems.
- Promote personal growth and development by staying abreast of new policies and improvements.
- Listen to customer concerns, effectively diffuse dissatisfaction, and quickly identify a course of action with a goal of first call resolution within established turnaround times.
- Work effectively with a diverse cross-functional team.
- Embrace Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodologies.
- Positively represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at all times throughout customer locations.
- Perform other tasks as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- 2 years of related experience in inventory management or within a laboratory setting is preferred.
- Experience working in customer service is also a plus.
- Able to read, write, and speak English.
- Displays a high level of confidentiality for both customers and Thermo Fisher Scientific.
- Must maintain Thermo Fisher Scientific's Four-I Values.
- Must have one to three years of progressive proven experience.
- Must possess a strong desire to serve the customer, and the interpersonal skills to deal with various levels of personnel at the customer site.
- Must deliver excellent customer service to include maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
- Possess the operating skills to use computers and learn to enter data in various systems as needed.
- Must possess the organizational skills to multi-task and meet customer requirements as needed.
- Must be proficient with a computer and the Microsoft Office suite of software.
- Works primarily at customer sites, which may require independent work.
- Work areas may include spaces where chemical-based allergens are in use.
- Requires the ability to lift, push, and pull 30-40 pounds consistently; may be required to lift 50 pounds occasionally.
- Able to work overtime as required.
