As a PPD Scientist, you will be responsible for performing routine sample testing and participate in analytical method development on investigational vaccine programs as they progress from early development to clinical PhI/II and PhIII trials. In addition, with the analysis of clinical material, you will also support process development and be involved in analytical method transfer to GMP/QC sites. You support the implementation of state-of-the-art technologies in line with QbD approach in the area of separation sciences (liquid chromatographic, electrophoretic techniques and compendial methods). You are responsible for the quality of scientific data generated, you plan your experimental activities according to business priorities and you present and share your conclusions with internal and external audience.

Education and Experience: *?
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
- Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2 years).
- In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Analyzing vaccines, recombinant proteins, fusion proteins, and/or mRNA vaccine candidates using : UHPLC techniques (RP, IEX, SEC), Electrophoretic techniques such as SDS-PAGE, and Compendial assays (pH, osmolaity, Appearance and description)
- Executing specific development projects in collaboration with the related platform staff, following the Quality by Design framework
- Interpreting scientific and technical data to reach sound scientific/technical conclusions based on a balance of data, analysis and experience
- Collaborating with related platform staff to interpret the data from development workstreams and implement improvements
- Functioning as a core team member on several projects in parallel
- Solves complex problems through collaborations with others, taking a new perspective on existing solutions
- Apply technical protocols and write scientific reports to support various project development stages
- Communicates effectively within ARD and with external stakeholders
- Follow and promote the application of GxP / EHS / QA regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an analytical development department working in the field of vaccine development
- Experience with the use and troubleshooting of Waters UHPLCs
- Being familiar with protein characterization using separative technologies (RP-HPLC, IEX-HPLC, HPSEC, SDS-PAGE, CE)
- Good understanding of GMP requirements in in a pharmaceutical environment
Working Environment: *?
- Able to communicate, receive, and understand information and ideas?with diverse groups of people?in a comprehensible and reasonable manner.??
- Able?to work upright and stationary and/or standing?for typical working hours.??
- Able to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds??
