How will you make an impact?
The Cell Biology Digital Marketing Team is seeking an experienced Digital Copywriter to edit, update, and write technical and marketing content for the business unit. This role will help create customer-facing digital content thereby contributing to the overall digital marketing strategy. This position will be responsible for managing execution of the Cell Biology website updates, search engine optimization (SEO) and product listings on third party websites, the development of paid search (SEM) advertisements, emails, and other related technical and marketing projects. The Digital Copywriter will partner with other Writers, Product Managers, Market Development, and eBusiness teams for successful execution.
What will you do?
- Liaise with Product Management, Marketing, SEO and Digital Channels, and Web teams to generate content for various portfolios and workflow solutions.
- Reviews and edits content developed to determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for greater reader comprehension and conversion rates.
- Meet with subject-matter experts to ensure specialized topics are appropriately addressed in content creation while maintaining marketing best practices.
- Analyze information required for the development or update of multimedia marketing materials and related advertising, policy, procedure, and form documentations.
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing tactics to support brand marketing initiatives (education, customer engagement, advertising, etc).
- Coordinate with marketing peers to ensure consistency and compliance with brand and company standards.
How will you get here?
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required in Life Science discipline, biology, chemistry, biochemistry, structural biology or comparable. Master’s or Doctorate degree is highly desired.
Experience
- 1-3 years’ experience writing scientific content or technical marketing content.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects to completion.
- Keen attention to detail, and a high regard for quality.
- Experience working in a highly matrixed environment.
- Able to build relationships, influence others, and work effectively with colleagues across multiple locations.
- Travel <10%.
