What will you do?
· Ensure Schedule adherence on your production line
· Drive a culture of safety and quality in all activities
· Deliver incremental increases in efficiencies in processes within your production line
· Drive improvements; be a problem solver; Identify and suggest improvements to maintain or improve safety, quality and work processes
· Coach other operators on the highest safety, quality and performance standards
· Responsible for performing visual inspection on in-process and finished products and escalate when appropriate
· Train other operators on new and existing SOP’s. and assist with their onboarding experience
· Manually assemble complex tubing and connectors to be used in the medical industry
· Read intricate manufacturing drawings and follow standard operating procedures
· Manufacture bags utilizing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in accordance with product blueprint
· Record and complete accurate documentation according to GMP requirements
· Conduct audits to ensure production line
· Create and maintain SOP’s within your area of expertise
· Working with a team in a fast-paced environment assembling complex product
· Be a significant advocate and frequently participant in the Lean PPI (Practical Process Improvement) culture through Tier boards, GEMBA, JDI, RCCM, 5S and/ or Kaizen events
How will you get there?
· HS Diploma or equivalent
· Ability to promote a fully inclusive and cohesive team environment
· Production experience in a CGMP or Lean manufacturing environment
· Demonstrated comfort using a computer to include M2M (Made to manage), keyboarding, email, basic Excel and PowerPoint.
· Previously demonstrated knowledge and understanding as a subject matter expert in the area or specialty (Training, Batch Records, Quality, etc.)
· Ability to follow complex procedures and plan ahead for smooth operations
· Ability to perform repetitive work duties
· Attention to detail while maintaining a quality product
· Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
· Excellent verbal/written communication
· Intermediate math skills
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
· Ability to work in a fast paced controlled cleanroom environment 8 hours a day with additional overtime as required for production schedule adherence
· The Clean-room is controlled environment for temperature and humidity having low ambient noise.
· Specific gowning is required including: gloves, hair & beard net and face cover, safety glasses with no makeup / jewelry, and the like.
· Ability to use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and understand chemical hygiene
Must have ability to do the following activities:
· Follow all safety protocols
· Drive quality in all activities
· Stand and move about including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping
· Use hand tools and equipment including forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, and pulling
· Infrequently lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds max unassisted; Frequently lift and manipulate up to 30 pounds
