Youth Minister
Job Posting for Youth Minister at Third Street Bethel A.M.E. Church
Key Responsibilities for Youth Minister:
- Serve as leader of Sunday Morning's Youth Church
- Prepare Bible Study lessons and sermons that will engage the youth
- Partner with Board of Christian Education regarding youth involvement and participation in programs that nurture spiritual growth
- Lead a weekly Young Adult Bible Study (in person or virtual)
- Work with the Third Street Bethel AME Church Media Team to promote Third Street Bethel AME Church Ministries
- Work with R.A.Y.A.C. (Richard Allen Young Adult Council) to strengthen young adult participation in church
- Strive to develop an appropriate relationship with youth adults
- Preach a minimum of four times a year on 2nd Sundays
- Previous experience in youth ministry preferred but not mandatory
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18,000.00 per year
