Our partner is looking for an experienced I&E Technician to join their operations in Baker, MT. The I&E Technician will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the instrumentation and electrical systems associated with the CO2 production facilities, test sites, and wells.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain instrumentation and electrical systems associated with the CO2 production facilities, test sites, and wells
- Have competent knowledge of various pumps and compressors driven mainly with electric motors
- Review and analyze problems associated with electrical and instrumentation equipment
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including critical safety and regulatory documentation about instrumentation and electrical systems
- Work in an enterprise asset management system like SAP
- Recognize potential hazards to operations and protect both human beings and equipment
- Ensure that operations under their control or supervision comply with HSE policies and governing agencies
- Ability to read PIDs and electrical schematics
- Have a basic understanding of SCADA systems
- Have a basic understanding of and minor programming of PLC equipment
- Mandatory callout schedule, must live within 40 miles of field locations
- 4 years of experience as an I&E Technician
- Competent in all areas and capable of handling most problems except those requiring engineering assistance
- Computer literate - Microsoft Office, etc.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet background check requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Work may require standing, stooping, walking, climbing, carrying instruments weighing up to 40 pounds, and wearing personal protective equipment
